To develop, qualify and implement productivity improvements to the welding process for the deposition of corrosion-resistant weld overlay (overlay cladding) on surface and subsea valves and related components.
Solutions
Glacier Energy undertook new equipment research, purchase and installation of selected new equipment, operator training and a series of welding trials to achieve optimum parameters for process.
